(click here for a stage plan layout)
The stage must
have a large screen set back at least six feet from the front of stage.
A Video Campfire
will be constructed stage left and in front of the screen.
The Video Campfire
consists of the following elements to be provided by the hosting organization:
The performer
rarely crosses the stage so either front or rear projection is ok.
Lighting:
A single key
spotlight focused on performer (stage left of screen) but shuttered
from screen with a warm amber gel. Additional lighting is welcome such
as a fill light and a top backlight (cool gel). Ellipsoidal lights are
best.
Note: Conference room overhead lighting is not acceptable! Important Note: Next Exit is a theatrical performance that is best presented on a traditional stage in a darkened room. If presented in a conference room a raised platform is essential. It is also important that other events are not concurrent with the performance. Setup and Strike: Allow for
a sixty minute setup and thirty minute strike.
This time
does not include installation and alignment of projection system and
house PA which should be done before performer setup.
