From Jas W Felter

Dear Denise:

I'm quite distressed to learn that Dana has passed away - I will pass on the information about the Memorial service to my artistamp and mail art contacts.

It was a privilege to have know Dana, and a real pleasure for me to catch up on his creative projects after the Pacific Rim Artistamp Congress. I visited his studio where I think I did meet you, and he gave some of us a demonstration of his contemporary story telling. I know he influenced several artists and am quite sure he inspired many, many more.

His passing is a loss to us all. I have updated my web site to include one of Dana's US StampMutations in the Historical Gallery.

From Flora Moon

Denise, I just found out about Dana's passing on to the big storytelling community in the sky. I have thought of him often and have used what I have learned from him every day in my life...things like talking from the heart, following my curiosity, not being afraid of dreaming to much. In fact, I've been giving a series of talks within my company called "Narrative and Synchronicity" which is a synthesis of what I learned during that wonderful, fruitful time at AFI with you, Harry, Dana, and Harry Mott. Know that I am thinking of you and wish you well.

Regards, Flora

From Derrick Powazek

Hi Denise, I wrote and posted a remembrance to Dana today. It's located on the Mac DevCenter: http://www.oreillynet.com/mac

It was difficult to write, but I hope it reads well.

Blessings in the New Year,

Derrick
