SINCE
1993 we have conducted a series
of digital storytelling workshops where individuals can bring their archives
and fashion them into a story. Thousands have created stories in these three-day
workshops first developed by Atchley at the American Film Institute and now
run by the Center for Digital Storytelling.
On the occasion of Atchley's 53rd birthday his mother attended the workshop.
She brought some old photos and an object that had long been a source of family
interest. She also wrote this story called "Redheads".
