The nineties have been devoted to the creation of Next Exit, an interactive theatrical performance, and to working with corporate and entertainment clients to develop and articulate digital storytelling as an emotionally powerful point of view combining new technology with the traditional art of storytelling.

He is President of Dana Atchley Productions, Inc., Founder and Director of the annual Digital Storytelling Festivals, and co-founder of The Center for Digital Storytelling. He is a charter member of the AppleMasters Program , serves on the Advisory Board of MediaLinx h@bitat at the Canadian Film Center and was named a Top 100 Producer of 1998 by Video & Multimedia Producer Magazine. He is also a member the Society of Digital Geezers.

Dana Atchley has every image he has taken since he got his first camera at age seven. After a traditional graphic design education at Dartmouth College and Yale University he spent the sixties exploring the frontiers of art, technology and altered states, the seventies on the road with his one man multimedia performance Roadshow, and the eighties producing Video Postcards for broadcast and cable television.
